Toshiba Schneider Inverter Corporation has made a new start in new shape in April 2001, at the beginning of the 21st century.

Toshiba Schneider Inverter Corporation was formed as a Japanese company under the wings of Schneider Toshiba Inverter Corporation that is a joint venture in the industrial inverter field bringing together Toshiba and Schneider Electric in France to operate the Inverter Business in a global scale. The newly formed company has taken over the inverter business formerly handled by the Industrial Electronic Equipment Division of Toshiba Industrial Products Manufacturing Corporation. The new company will perform product planning, development, design. procurement and manufacture and supply industrial inverters on a global scale in cooperation with the simultaneously founded French venture; Schneider Toshiba Inverter(Europe)Corporation the American company to be established next year and the parent company.

Over the last two years, the industrial inverter business was transferred from Toshiba Corporation to Toshiba industrial Products Manufacturing Corporation and further to the newly founded Toshiba Schneider Inverter Corporation acting as a manufacturer specialized inverter. The strength given by these predecessors and  the  power  of  our  overseas  partner have boosted our capabilities. We are confident to be the top-runner clearing the challenges of the new century with a slim and trim organization and a speedy business operation.

Based on the policy of "customer-focus", we will reinforce Marketing and Customer Support Divisions, establish a scheme to   reflect customer needs directly into our products and supply more value-added products from the optimal production sites in a speedy manner and on a global scale through a globally cooperated development.
